Two expressions of the Church
“They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer. Everyone was filled with awe at the many wonders and signs performed by the apostles. All the believers were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their number daily those who were being saved.”
Acts 2:42
In this passage we see how the “gathered” and “scattered” church in Acts operated. Every day they “gathered” in the Temple Courts. They also broke bread in their own homes and ate together (scattered). We believe that the two expressions of church is just as important today as it was in the first century.
Gathered
One way we want you to experience Jesus is through the Gathered Church. These are times when we gather on a Sunday morning or another event during the week to encounter God and respond to him as a larger church family.

Scattered
We believe that church is more than a Sunday gathering. The Scattered Church is made up of small and mid-sized groups of people who gather in homes, coffee shops and other spaces to love God, share life together, and reach their friends with the gospel.
- Family Groups
- Finance, Parenting, and Marriage Classes
- Sports, Band, Dance or Home-school get-togethers
- Missional Communities
- Bible Studies
- Micro-churches
- Online zoom groups
There are many opportunities to join in a group, class, or community. We’d love to hear what you desire and find ways for you to join in!
